Refund policy

    Return Guidelines

    Please examine your product upon receipt. If the item arrives damaged or is incorrect, please decline the delivery. In cases where delivery was completed without requiring a signature and the product is damaged or incorrect, please reach out to Wheelchairs and More Customer Support.

    Once the delivery has been accepted, the following terms will apply:

    Certain products may have a restocking fee; please refer to individual product listings for details.

    You are responsible for return shipping fees, and the product must be returned in its original packaging. The item must be in brand-new, unused condition. Signs of use include, but are not limited to: cracks, scratches, dirty tires, pet hair, other household debris, wear on seats and armrests, damage to charging ports, or scratches on frames and remotes.

    All accessories and chargers that came with the product (e.g., chargers, baskets, extra colored shrouds) must be returned. Accessories purchased separately do not need to be returned with the power chair.

    Please note that service fees such as outgoing freight, expedited shipping (e.g., Next-Day or Overnight), and specialized delivery services (e.g., Inside Delivery, White Glove Delivery, and Tech Set-Up) are non-refundable.

    Return Period

    For most products, you have 10 days from the date of delivery to request a return. The product must be in its original packaging and unused. You are responsible for return shipping fees.

    Non-returnable Products

    Some products are custom-built or special ordered and are not eligible for return. These include:

    • Custom chairs or specially ordered equipment
    • Ultralightweight and sport wheelchairs
    • Handcycles
    • Custom-made lift chairs with upgrades like fabrics, heat and massage, PowerPillow, footrest extension, or left-hand control options
    • Custom-built wheelchairs designed for your specifications
    • Scooters and power chairs with custom options
    • Vehicle lifts, stairlifts, and patient lifts
    • Pacesaver brand scooters
    • Open-box items

    For hygienic reasons, the following products are also non-returnable:

    • Bath safety equipment (excluding select Rehab Shower Commode Chairs)
    • Seating products like cushions and backs
    • Slings
    • Mattresses

    Products returned may be subject to a 20%-25% restocking fee. This applies to:

    • Power wheelchairs
    • Scooters
    • Manual wheelchairs (custom ones excluded)
    • Beds
    • Rehab Shower Commode Chairs
    • Parts

    Return Process

    To initiate a return, request a Return Authorization (RA) from Wheelchairs and More within the specified return window. You can request an RA number by filling out the online Return Authorization Request form, calling (814) 864-0000, or emailing customerservice@wheelchairsandmore.com. Include your order number, name, and the item number you want to return.

    After receiving your RA number, you have 10 days to return the item to the address provided with the RA. Once the product arrives, it will be inspected for any signs of damage or use. If any signs of use are found, Wheelchairs and More will be unable to issue a refund. In such cases, we will notify you, and you may choose to have the item shipped back to you at your own expense.

    Once the return is approved, your refund—minus any applicable restocking fees—will be credited to your original payment method.

    PLEASE NOTE: All returns require a Return Authorization number. Products sent back without an RA number will not be eligible for a refund. To ensure full credit, items must be shipped within 10 days after the RA number is provided.

    Return Shipping

    Unless Wheelchairs and More made an error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We are happy to help you determine the best shipping method once you request an RA number. For larger items, we recommend purchasing insurance for the retail value to protect against potential shipping damage.

    Be sure to follow all return shipping instructions provided with your RA number. If an item is sent to the incorrect address, Wheelchairs and More reserves the right to charge any additional shipping fees required to get the item to the correct location. Additionally, if a scheduled carrier pickup is missed, a $10 fee may apply.

    Order Cancellations

    If an order is canceled after the item has shipped, the standard return policy applies. You must accept delivery, obtain an RA number, and ship the item back to the proper address. If delivery is refused, the cost of return shipping and a 25% restocking fee (minimum $25) will be deducted from your refund. Expedited shipping costs (e.g., Second-Day or Next-Day) will not be refunded if the delivery is refused.

    Refunds

    Once we receive your returned item, Wheelchairs and More will process your refund to the original payment method. Please allow up to four weeks for the refund to be completed. If you paid by check or money order, we will issue a refund check within 30 days.
